Police Filed case on Goodwin jewelers for frauding people. 


Goodwin jewelers branches closed.....

Thousands of people are in poor condition after the closure of a jewelry store in the state. Actually, these people have invested heavily in the fixed deposits and gold schemes of this store, but the owners of the store have been shutting down their shops for the past several days. When the police reached the residence of jewelry store Goodwin Stores owners Sunil Kumar and Sudhish Kumar at Dombivali, they found it closed, after which their showroom located in the same area was sealed.

People have invested more than Rs 2,000 to Rs 50 lakh in Goodwin schemes. But the police believe that this amount can be in crores.

Statement of the senior inspector:- 

"We have registered a case of fraud against the owners of the stores and their area manager Manish Kundi and are being investigated," said SP Aher, senior inspector of Ramnagar police station. He said that so far only about 250 people from Dombivli have contacted him and his statements have been recorded to find out the total amount deposited. When the Times of India tried to contact him, his mobile phone got switched off.

 One of the Statements of  Investor:-

"I have done a fixed deposit of Rs 2 lakh. as per their commitment, I came to shop to pick up my gold but it was closed.'' 

Around three hundred people gathered later and filed FIR.

 Police said Goodwin Jewellers has 14 branches across the State. The the matter was brought to the attention of the police after 35 of its customers approached them on Saturday to inform them that the store’s Dombivli branch had not opened for the last two days.
